CFAL Donates Computer Equipment to Crooked Island High School
When Hurricane Irene touched down on Crooked Island earlier this year it left in its wake a badly damaged Crooked Island High School. Included in that damage was the school's computer lab, which was used by the entire student body and adults in the community.

Things are finally looking up for 14-year-old Danesha Daxon and the other 32 students of the Crooked Island High School. It has been more than three months since their school lay in waste in the wake of Hurricane Irene.

Major Structural Damage on Crooked Island
As heard on many radio and tv stations earlier today, there has been some major structural damage on Crooked Island in the Southern Bahamas. At the Colonel Hill High School, a block of classes, including the school's Computer Room have been left without a roof in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene. There was also damage to the roof of St. John's Baptist Church in the Colonel Hill settlement.
